Very good shoe, but not as good a fit as the NB 842. I have narrow feet. The 842 AA width was a great fit. The 992 AA is too narrow in the front of the shoe, though perfect in the heel. the 992 B width is fine at the toes, but the heel is too wide.

This is an excellent pair of running shoes. Whether you spend $100 or $150 on them, they are worth it. The fit is true to size. I sometimes have to size up 1/2 to 1 size in New Balance, but not with the 992s. They give great support while running. They were comfortable after the first run, so give them a day to get ‘broken in.’ My feet never hurt after a run and aren’t sore the day after as with a lot of shoes. They are also quite striking as far as running shoes go. I have the Navy/Grey combination and have gotten a lot of compliments on them. My sister (who is also a runner) likes them so much that she has requested a pair for Christmas.
